A Review on Philip Stein Watches with Diamonds
In 2005, Oprah Winfrey nominated a Philip Stein Diamond Watch as one of her favorite things on her annual segment titled Oprah’s Favorite Things, shown on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
The Philip Stein Diamond Watch was among nineteen other items chosen by Oprah, including the Burberry Purse, Apple iPod, Pure Color Cords, Blackberry 7105T from T-Mobile, Oatmeal Cookie Dough by Fox & Obel, Sony VAI FJ Notebook, Burberry Coat, CheeseCorn Tin and CaramelCrisp by Garrett Popcorn Shops, the Ralph Lauren Oprah Sweater, Uptown Boot by UGG Australia, Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker, Nike Free 5.0 iD, Williams-Sonoma Croissants, Philosophy Grace Basket, Philosophy Hope in a Jar, Moveable Feast Geneva Brownies, The Oprah Winfrey Show 20th Anniversary Collection DVD and Kashwere Shawl Collar Robe.
Many Philip Stein watches, like the one chosen by Oprah Winfrey, sport diamonds; diamond studded watches include watches with double diamond cases, and watches with diamond markers on their dials, some of which are scattered diamonds.
The story of Philip Stein appearing on the most watched episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Philip Stein has already made it to Oprah’s Favorite Things twice. Indeed, in 2003, and again in 2005, Winfrey felt that Philip Stein was noteworthy enough to tell the world about, recommending two different watches as great gifts. In both cases, audience members received the selected Philip Stein watches free, along with all of the other items presented on the episode that particular year.
Oprah’s Favorite Things is traditionally broadcasted during the holiday season, usually around Thanksgiving time, on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Year after year, Oprah’s Favorite Things is the most viewed episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show.
In 2003, the 350 members of the audience each received a classic Philip Stein watch, and in 2005, the gracious audience, consisting of Hurricane Katrina volunteers, each received a Philip Stein diamond watch.
It is more difficult to obtain tickets to Oprah’s Favorite Things, compared to other episodes aired on The Oprah Winfrey Show. This is because audience members are usually chosen based on a particular characteristic.
Historical Overview of Oprah's Obsession with Philip Stein
It is no small secret that Oprah Winfrey adores Philip Stein watches. According to O, The Oprah Magazine, a magazine staff member experienced the disappearance of chronic knee pain after two weeks of wearing a Philip Stein watch in 2006.
O, The Oprah Magazine, also included a Philip Stein timepiece with dual-movement and sapphire-coated dials in its collection of white summer watches that radiate cool and clarity in 2008.
That same year, The Oprah Magazine included a Philip Stein timepiece featuring a pebbly green strap in its list of must-have shagreen accessories. Shagreen is a hard wearing, quality skin.
Oprah Winfrey herself received a colorful Philip Stein timepiece with six different bands from Madonna. Oprah loves the fact that the watch is fashionable, and also has the ability to promote better sleep, reduce stress and enhance the energy level of the wearer. Oprah celebrates her adoration for Philip Stein by repeatedly including luxury watches manufactured by Philip Stein in her list of “favorite things”.

In 2009, Dr. Michael Breus, PhD, oversaw a study commissioned by Philip Stein in regards to the frequency technology embedded in its timepieces. Breus in a renowned expert on sleep and problems associated with sleep; indeed, he is a board certified sleep specialist. The study was conducted by an independent clinical trials institute, NeuroTrials Research. NeuroTrials conducted a double blind, randomized, placebo controlled study, in which subjects were both female and male, did not suffer from any psychological or medical condition, but who did suffer from sleep issues for a minimum of the previous three months.
Ninety six percent of respondents demonstrated a positive response on a minimum of one of several variables, including “feeling refreshed”, “time to fall asleep”, “total sleep time” and “pleasant dreams”, as a result of wearing devices with frequency technology.
For example, fifty two percent of participants had more pleasant dreams on the night on which they wore the device embedded with frequency technology, as opposed to the night on which they wore no frequency technology.

In 2002, the Steins were introduced to the notion of replicating naturally occurring frequencies, and developed this idea into natural frequency technology. The result: a worldwide fan base, of people who are forever thankful to the Philip Stein brand for having helped them get more in tune with themselves, experience better sleep, more focus and overall wellbeing.
Philip Stein is so called because at the time of its creation, the Steins were expecting a son, who they planned to call “Ben Philip”. In celebration, they named the brand “Philip Stein”; their son was later named “Ben Stein”.
