BLACKBERRY

Hi!  I’m the Blackberry, a renowned member of the Rosaceae Family.  Although I’m small, please don’t get me confused with a black raspberry!  I’m different because I’m actually eaten with my core, or receptacle.  My dark color may give me a hardy look, but my plant actually needs special care, like regular pruning, in order to produce large crops of fruit.  My bold coloring combined with my innate softness make me a suitable ornament for the ambitious, corporate type, who is essentially gentle.
