ORANGE

Hi there!  I am the Orange, the scrumptious and pulpy fruit, part of the renowned Citrus Family, related to the Lime, Lemon and Grapefruit.  Portuguese traders brought me to Europe in the 16^th century BC, so as a token of appreciation, I’m known as the Portugal Orange in many Mediterranean languages.  My bright orange color, a mixture of red and yellow pigment, is fitting for the stable and poised, people who enjoy equilibrium in their lives, and are able to balance opposing forces, such as passion with reason.
