STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRI

Hey there!  I’m the Strawberry Daiquiri, made of lime juice, rum, sugar or simple syrup, cracked ice, and of course, strawberries.  My history is obscure, although they say that I am the accidental brainchild of an American mining engineer who ran out of gin while he was entertaining guests in Daiquiri, Cuba, causing him to mix lime and rum.  My secret appeal lies in the exact balance of my sweet and sour flavors.  I look great on the type of person who knows how to be sweet, but also knows how to hold their ground when needed.
